The Booking: Your contract is with Travel Host, once we have confirmed you on our tour of your choice and we have received your consent through/over call, email, website or any other social media. Once you confirm a booking with us, this confirms that you and
other people on the tour accept our booking terms and condition and are entering into the contract.

Communications: When you make a booking with us, we will address communications to you at your given email address. All the communications transmitted to you at your email address shall be considered to have been communicated even if returned undelivered for any reason. All communications from you to the Travel Host has to be in writing, not orally.

Travel Host reserves the right to communicate with the customer, via email, telephone, or other means as appropriate to communicate information with regards to bookings made on the any of Travel Host platform. Travel Host also holds the rights to share the contact information of Customer with vendor in order to support the booking.

 

Travel Host reserves the right to:

  • Cancel bookings even after accepting the payment from customer, without assigning any reason. In this
    case the company shall refund the payment to the customer.
  • Change hotel, vehicle and/tour program mentioned in tour package or itinerary due to unavoidable
    circumstances.
  • Increase the price of your travel arrangements in case of sudden hike in fuel prices, schedule airfare and any taxes levied  by the government. Even in this case, we will try to absorb an amount of 3%, but exceeding over 3% will be surcharged.
  • Withdraw discounts at any point of time, without assigning any reason.
  • Dismiss any guest from the tour for any kind of misbehavior, physical or verbal assault to anyone

 

Cancellation Policy:

  • In case of cancellation of the tour, refund will restrict to a limited amount only which we would be able to recover from the hoteliers or other service providers. In the event of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable or unavoidable reason(s) we must be notified of the same via e-mail prior to the arrival. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive request in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
  • 30 days or more before departure date: 20% of the tour/service cost 
  • 29-7 days prior to arrival: 40% of the tour/service cost
  • Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of the tour/service cost

 

Refund Policy:

Refunds (if any) will be interest free. Travel Host shall not be liable to pay any interest
on the amount refunded to the guest. Refund processing may take time ranging
from minimum 10 days to 20 days.

Some of the refunds are out of control:

    • Refund for hotel
      payment will completely depend on the hotel’s refund/cancellation policy.
    • Train and Flight
      tickets cancellations are subject to the Railway’s and Flight ticket cancellation policy respectively.

 

No refund will be payable:

  • For any unused hotel accommodation, transportation segments, missed meals or other services.
  • Where full payment are need to be made in advance to concerned authorities to confirm the booking.
  • If tour services are modified, amended, changed, cancelled or not utilized.
  • For the Christmas and New year period from 20 Dec to 05 Jan the payment is non-refundable.
  • If the tour is indefinitely postponed or we unable to provide/deliver any service due to a natural calamity, riots, strikes, road blocks, political calamities or any other unforeseen calamities.

Advance Payment: For the services contracted, 30% advance payment should be made to hold the booking. Travel host reserves the  right to decide the amount to be paid as an advance payment, basis nature and time left for the commencement of the services. In some cases like booking accommodation during the peak season (Christmas, New Year) full payment is required to be paid in advance. 

Liability: Travel Host does not own, or control hotels, coach or other facilities mentioned in the tour. As a tour operator therefore, we cannot be held liable:

ʉۢ Where failure in service is attributable to customer or a third party not connected with the provision of holiday and is unforeseeable or unavoidable.

• Where there has been no fault on the part of Travel Host, suppliers or agents.

•Where the failures are due to an event which you or your supplier even with all
due care could not foresee or foretell.

Travel Host accepts the liability for the negligence of our employees and for all those arrangements
for your tour, which are wholly within our control.

Travel Host shall not be held liable for any delays & alterations in the program or expenses incurred –directly or indirectly – due to natural calamities, flight/train cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.

Also Travel Host shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage to person and their property due to any natural calamity, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, wars, riots, civil disturbances, strikes, breakdown of transport, thefts, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes out of our control.

 

Complaints: We do our best to provide our customers a hassle-free vacation but occasionally plans go wrong. If you
have any complaint, please inform your tour manager (at the same time), who will do everything possible to resolve the matter immediately. If still the issue is not resolved, then you must notify the company within 15 days of the tour
ending in writing. The date will be considered at the day notice/complaint is received by Travel Host. If you do not write to us within this time, this will affect the investigation and ultimately the outcome. Any disputes between clients and
Travel Host shall be governed by Jurisdiction of India.

Check-in/Check –out: Standard Check-in / Checkout time in most hotels is 2pm & 11am respectively (IST). Therefore, any cost arising out of early check-in or late check-out is not included in the tour cost. Check in or Check out timings completely depends upon the hotel policy.

 Privacy Policy:

We ask user for personal information including name, mobile number, email, along with other set of personal information. This information is important for the execution of the services that we are providing. This information is shared with the members
associated with the required services only. We assure our customers that
we are not going to use any user information whatsoever in bad faith and/or sell the information to any third party under any condition. Other than that, we have proper security features installed on our website so that the digital data would not be accessible to anyone.

Law and Jurisdiction:
In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first seek settlement by mediation in accordance with the applicable rules and the mediator shall be appointed by the Company. This contract will be governed by Indian law. You hereby agree
that in the event of a dispute the exclusive jurisdiction shall vest in the competent court/forum/tribunal in Shimla, HP, India only.

 As to the interpretation of the aforesaid terms and conditions, the decision of Travel Host shall be final. Travel Host reserves the right to change the Terms & Conditions any time without any prior notice and without assigning any reasons thereof.
